It's truly great portrait lens, comparing to popular Jupiter 85/2 - it's from different world. But comparing to my Prakticar 80/1.8 (Pancolar) it's nothing special Smile.

I have this same lens -- bought it as part of a large Canon FD outfit but I've never used it. Mostly because I also have an FD 85mm f/1.2 Aspherical and I've just never felt the need to try it out. I've never felt like selling it either. But it's nice seeing pix taken with it on a good camera. The bokeh remind me of those I get with my FD 50mm f/1.4.
