Some photos from a visit to the zoo. I think it's a pretty decent lens for the price and it's good for portraits too. I don't remember the exact apertures I used, most are between f/2.8 and 5.6

One of my favorite FD lenses. I bought mine new around 1973, it made me a lot of money doing portraits as a sideline. Chrome ring breechlock and solid brass construction. It balanced very nicely with my F-1.

Lenses of this focal length hardly ever disappoint and this lens is no exception.
I’ve owned (and own) quite a few, but didn’t get my hands on the Canon yet.
