Here are some sample shots with the Canon EF 100mm f:2.8 Macro USM mounted on the 5D Mark II.

It's not the IS version.

No it's not a soft focus lens...

Nice samples Olivier.
I'd use a tripod for a bigger DOF.

Hi Olivier, nice series, nice framing!
maybe you still believe you got the IS version but 1/40s for a 100mm macro is not enough Wink
little blur is nice for flower but in #1 it is too visible and doesn't look like soft focus

I have to agree that #1 is too blurry and that 1/40s is clearly not enough ! Smile
After all, why did I retain it ? Maybe the colors, the framing. But it's a mistake. That's what is interesting. Others' eyes often open ours. Wink
