Located in U.S.A. (California) http://www.cameraquest.com/

Latest purchase: Voigtländer LH-75S round hood & cap for SL 3.5/90 & 4/180 APO-Lanthars. Now I have two, so I don't have to share hoods between the lenses anymore.

Steve shipped the hood on Sat Nov 7th. My door bell rang on Wed Nov 12th, shipped with United States Postal Service and delivered by Itella (Finnish postal service).

Great service, promptly dispatched, carefully packaged. Overall, transaction could not be easier - only a PayPal money transfer with order in message field. Over the years I have purchased from Steve Bessa side grip (Bessaflex), 4/180 APO-Lanthar (Nikon Ai-S), Voigtlander carrying strap, VC Meter II - all share same shopping experience.

Highly recommended.

I can also say that CameraQuest looks like a good supplier - my son, who lives in the USA, ordered a lens from Mr Gandy as a gift for me. It was shipped next day, and well packed.

Well, I have seen both sides of Steve and not all glitter
is gold. If all works as he wants it, all is great and also
fast.

Heh. I first met Steve Gandy back when I was a camera dealer -- probably back in about 1990 or so. Back then he was one of a hardcore group of avid Southern California Nikon Rangefinder collectors. Back in those days, "high strung" and a tendency to be a bit tempermental would not have been unfair characterizations, I think. However, he always knew his stuff. By the mid to late 90s his site had become a good online resource for Nikon info. I haven't stayed in touch, though.
