Hi there all,
I am trying to see the costs for developing black and white film at home. Currently the deal breaker might be the negative scanner.
One other alternative I am thinking is shooting C41 black and white films. I bought one, BW400CN black and white film and I will give it a try.
I have heard that if these films do not get a good stop bath the negatives deteriorate over time quite a lot.
Did you have any experience? What do you think about developing at stores C41 black and white films?

Regards
Alex

I've used a few of these type of films, Ilford though, never kodak. I think it should be ok, processed properly at a decent lab you will get excellent results. My negs are lovely with great gradation and little grain.

Hi
good to hear that you did not have any problems with the negatives.
