Does anyone have any info or samples from the Bushnell lenses?
Dont they make Binoculars?
I'm looking at a 300mm Bushnell. I'm not quite sure I want to buy it knowing nothing about the glass. _________________ Nikons : F4-EM-FG-FE2-FA-EL-FTN-N2020-N70-F Nikkorex

Very early Bushnells were rebadged Tamrons. Most you'll run into are Tokinas. They also imported binoculars and rifle scopes. I think they were owned by Bausch and Lomb for a while. _________________ In Search Of "R" Serial Soligors

Thanks casualcollector,
I have one in my sites for 100.00 USD plus 9.00 for shipping.
Do you think the lens is worth it? My Tokina 200mm is quite nice, but i got it for a song and dance. I wasnt sure I wanted to spend 100.00 on this lens. _________________ Nikons : F4-EM-FG-FE2-FA-EL-FTN-N2020-N70-F Nikkorex

I don't think any Bushnell camera lens would be worth that much.
The Tamrons they had were Adaptamatics, and the Tokinas the same as the stuff sold by Vivitar/Soligor. If its the Adaptamatic 300/5.6 $30-40 would be a fair price, and the Tokina 300/5.5 even less.
OK, I found the listing. Thats a Tokina.
Same as in this -
290314232038
and this
180354127047
These two have T4 M42 mounts _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work.

$100.00? Not in my opinion, but I don't know the manufacture of the specific lens you're looking at. Any of the common Tokina made 300mm f 5.5 lenses can be had for a song. Opening e-bay bids can usually be found between $10 and $25. Some of the Tamrons may require a dance in addition.
Tokina made auto diaphragm 300/5.5 would include some Vivitars, most Soligors, Sears, Lentar, Rikenon, maybe Miranda and probably others. _________________ In Search Of "R" Serial Soligors
