This ML 50/1.4 is a quite a nice lens indeed, it has less distortion
and faithful colour rendering than C/Y Planar 50/1.4 for sure.
Of course people's liking is different, but ML 50/1.4 makes me not
wanting Planar 50/1.4.
------------------------------ do not read below ---------------------
I confess secretly want to have a Planar 50/1/4.
To compare it against many other 50mm lenses, that is the only
reason of getting/wanting one. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Its actually nearly a full stop because it goes 1.4,2.0,2.8 etc etc but in addition 1.4,s are usually big and chunky and just feel good to use |

Not a member as far as I know, but he has a lot of C/Y-lenses inlcuding zeiss. about 2000-3000 feedback on tradera.com and 100% positive. Had a discussion and he has more C/Y-lenses then he sells because he doesn't think it is worth it, he get to little money for yashica-lenses - rather keep them instead. _________________ Retrocamera.net |
