This picture is from either:

An uncoated pre-war Ludwig-Dresden Victar, in M40 screw mount. An odd, crudely-finished lens (compared to contemporary Zeiss / Schneider / Leitz / Meyer lenses) shot wide open a .7m minimum focusing distance on a Sony A7

One Christmas tree photo was taken with a $200 Zeiss Planar T* 50mm/1.4 C/Y lens and the other with a normal FL lens I found on the floor of the recycle room. Which one is which? Is one bokeh more preferred? Or different strokes fo different folks?

You recognize the circular-sawblade/shuriken bokeh. It is the AE version. The other photo was taken with a Konica Hexanon 52mm/1.8 lens that was on a camera someone threw away. It is not supposed to perform as well as the AR 50mm/1.7 but this one might be better than average. Sharpness tests to almost as good as the AR and I really like the colors. This one taken with the Konica Hexanon 52mm on Sony A7, probably at f:1.8.
