I think most people here don't shot 'bokeh only' photos. May be you can open another thread called 'Out of Focus'. |
I can't tell if you are trolling, so I will just reply in a straight way.
Bernardhas started this thread specifically to explore the forced limitation of shooting photos that are completely out of focus. This has made the thread a wonderfully inventive and inspiring collection of photos, for quite a long time. (Start reading the thread from the start and see for yourself. )
Lately people have started to misinterpret the thread by posting normal photos showing off pleasing bokeh. Specifically NOT the point of this thread!! There are dozens of standard bokeh threads out there already. There are no other threads like this one.
This thread was a miracle, but is now being massively derailed and devalued because people just look at the latest photo and just assume it's about showing off bokeh.
It would be a shame to abandon a thread that has become a great collection of inspiring and original images because people misinterpreted it and have started posting off topic photos.
A situation that can easily be fixed by changing the thread title. _________________ https://www.rudolfkremers.com

I think the name of title is precise and there is no need to change it. If it is not, then there will be some non-qualified photos at the first pages.
If we want to keep the photos within the theme, one way to do is cleaning up the thread, moving the non-qualified photos to another thread(as I suggested) and restate the requirements to fit this thread(you have did this part). _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.

LOL! I think that follow up post of nice image with bokeh was a light-hearted jab to not take it so seriously.
Thread can be easily fixed after all. If I am guilty of a post I'll delete any not meant for here.
But an admin should modify the thread title, with a defining statement.
BTW, that city traffic shot is wonderful!! _________________ "The eyes are useless when the mind is blind."
