Just a flower I found near the beach...

A few more...These were flowers I passed in peoples gardens while walking down to the beach.

This cacti drove me nuts as the highlights on the flower were difficult to capture....I think this photo succeeds.

But wait there is more...from my first trip to Sydney these are flowers and trees from around the beach

11 is my favourite, I like how that banksia looks like a face. Gotta love folks gardens especially as I live in a flat and how they provide some great photo opportunities at different times of the year.

That for me was the best part just walking along looking at the plants...those Banksias are a very funny tree...they show all the stages of the furry to the fresh..flower/fruit?...on the same tree at the same time.
