My Bessa 66, an early model, I believe.

I tried to research the different variations. Not a lot of information online. I did see some photos that show a glass element in the viewfinder, Was it added in a later variation? I'll be shooting a roll or two this weekend.

Yes, pre-war they had two versions, yours and the De Luxe with the small vf and auto stop frame advance. One of my favorite cameras

my one is 'Different' again ! It has a 'Voigtar' lens

Several different lens and shutter combinations:
Voigtar and Vaskar = 3 element (Anastigmat)
Skopar = 4 element (Tessar like)
Heliar = 5 element

Mounted on several Compur or Prontor shutter
