I bid a small amount on one of these (Sun optical flat chrome version M42 mount) on a whim. 32 bucks including international shipping. I have the Sun versions in exakta mount 100 2.8 and 35mm 2.8 and both are very very good despite the 100 mm having some "flower" separation. I figured if I lucked out I had not too much invested. It is coming from Germany so will take a while.

Maybe. I've got a Chinon made by Sun. Not bad at al
