I don't know. Instead of turning a small cam into a big one, I would rather take a DSLR or a Lumix G-series. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

This morning I have taken some pics with NEX-5 and Tak 1.8/85mm. The weight distribution is bad with such large and heavy lenses and I have a lot of problems with the handling. With such a lens or similar you will turn the small cam anyway into a big one.
Perhaps smaller and leightweight OM lenses or 40mm Konica would be better.

I don't think it might be a good idea to use this kind of grip for nex. My expierience is just use the original half leather case of sony nex5 to increase the handling feeling. it helps a lot. and btw, beware of some kind of non-original half case for sony nex, cause the screw on the case may destroy the tripod connection on camera. _________________ Sigma SA & SD Cameras and lenses

Thanks for your comments.
Everyone made own experiences and for myself the handling and weight distribution is much better with this battery grip than without.
