Wonderful images as always Andreas. Couldn´t say which one could be my favorite. Everyone has something special and I like them all.

Great places where you stay around your trip.

Wonderful series Andreas! You captured that special place very well - the only place
I know where spiritualism and normal daily life are one. Makes me want to go there again...

Wonderful series, Andreas, what magazine is this going in? Love the
Kuta beach pic, especially. When we visited Bali by ship, we'd drop hook
off Kuta and take a liberty boat in.

Color photos are equally brilliant, Indonesia loves vivid colors! Thanks
for sharing!

Wonderful series Andreas!
Make them sign a model release, if possible, that way next time when you'll be asked for a license it would be much easier.

11 and 15 are the ones that stand out for me. The full series is very nicely done and I can only image how many other great shots you have that did not get posted.

Klaus IMO spirituality in the west often is little understood though it's very simple really. Trying to hint at how I perceive it I'd say it's giving priority the world of feelings
For someone it may be a duty but I am sure it also can be very liberating to gracefully put an offering of flowers, light an incense stick, to caress it's smoke and pour some drops of water, oblivious of all noise around, e.g. a shopkeeper while a client is waiting. The priority of to what must seem unproductive to the rational mind, to the sanctifying in Bali certainly makes it a special place

I think so too..the Super Takumar f1.9/85 has become one of my very favorites. It renders very special colors, more like the early Auto Takumars, different than all the later Super and S-M-C Takumars. It is said to have the same optical formula than the Auto Takumar f1.8/85, I would love to be able to compare those and see if they differ.

Super Takumar f1.9/85mm

IAZA very much I hope that we shall meet! Next year in Bali, or in Yogyakarta, it has been a while I was there and have been wanting to go back to this fantastic city ever since

best greetings,
Andreas

thank you Andreas for letting me forget a short time daily business, viewing your pictures

one remark: BW works perfect if you see faces, known structures with relation to an area, flora or fauna, etc, only the beach photo could have been everywhere, here colour ( of peoples dress ) would have made it clearer

thank you Bill
Bali used to have a rather larger painter's colony and one main reason i was told by painters was the bright colors. Being very near to equator may play a role.
hm..which magazine..I don't know yet, you find out and tell me Wink

I am still not that confident to ever sell any of my images.
Thank you for the suggestion, maybe I really should have corresponding papers ready with me at times.

glad to know that Thomas Smile

about the beach photo better being in colors, I agree, can see myself suggesting the same when viewing someone else's photo
this was taken after sunset and rather against the last light

Auto Takumar f2/55mm

on others I was also not able to get colors I would have been happy with and went for B&W

best greetings,
Andreas
