The 10D uses EF-S, correct? I got an EF-S M42 adapter off eBay for $3.45 and it works okay. Here's an older post on the EOS adapters (you may have seen this.)

The black one on the left allows me to focus to infinity with M42 lenses. Have you used the M/S on another camera to verify that the issues isn't in the lens?

The 10D does not actually have an EF-S mount, it is EF only. However, I'm not sure the adapter matters either way.

The 200/3.5 is a heavy beast...to be honest I have not used it all that much.I think there are a few versions of the Mamiya 200.
I have a "spare" 2/50 but it has no A/M switch.

I remember your lens John I did put a bid on it, but it went above my price range... Laughing
