I tried a couple of panoramas.
The subject was not idea because the roof line is bent all over the place (In reality) but people who know these famous cottages will be aware of that.
The place is photographed by just about everybody so it was worth trying to get something different. I had a search of the web and can't find another shot like it.
The one 'Pan' is 16 shoots, the original is 13,000 pixels wide!

I like the second one, you lose a bit of the pond there, but the atmosphere works nicely.

I haven't seen these btw. Very Thomas Hardy-ish.

I've had little luck with panoramas, maybe I need to work on technique. You seem to have that down.

Amazing place.
I like them all with a preference for the second and the fifth.
If you hadn't written about the roof line I would have suspected the correctness of the panorama.

Thank you. It wasn't easy doing the Pan but I think it was worth it as I have yet to see another. There are thousands of pictures of them on the web.
I believe one of our other members has some nice summer pictures of the Row. It would perhaps be nice if he posted them?
The cottages are actually Modernised in the 17th Century.
Built in 1380 originally to store wool, these cottages were converted into homes for weavers in the 17th Century. A legend goes Henry Ford was so impressed with the scene they conjured up, he tried to buy the entire row,

Rob, you live in very beautiful place. I was in Swindon for a week.... On weekend, we took a car drive around Swindon and some nearby cities. Very different from US and if you have driver (one of our colleague) who was driving the left drive as well as manual gear car first time, its more fun (although scary if you are sitting on the passenger seat)...

"The Cotswolds" is such a wonderful area! I wish I could go there again...
