I bought this lens off Maartens excellent sale list as damaged. It seems fine otherwise, only the aperture mechanism was jammed and the blades didn't move when rotating the aperture ring.
So I took the lens apart, and found that a sort of hook retaining the spring-loaded aperture-controlling lever had gotten loose. The hook won't stay on the lever unless I glue it, and I'm not quite sure this is what I want to do.
I read somewhere that the Pallas lenses are mechanically similar to Miranda lenses, but Miranda (as I remember) wasn't a manufacturer but rather a resale brand, who got supplied by others. Is this a Tomioka-made lens, and does anyone have pointers to Tomioka-made 135mm lens repair guides?
I'm going to repair the lens one way or another, and would also appreciate any hints or tips.
And yes, I'll post photos of the mechanism later today! _________________ Lars

As promised here's the spring/hook mechanism:
The hook's "tooth" is near the lever and I think should be connected to it. It will, sort of, but will jump out as soon as the lever moves. I'm guessing that this lever should stay still while another lever further on left moves to open or close the aperture.
The lever further on left, is pictured on this photo, a bit further to where the steel rim widens a bit (paint is chipped on the lever):
So - I'm at a bit of a jam (ie. I screwed up) since I blindly tore down the assembly without taking photos or making notes first
Has anyone repaired similar ones before? _________________ Lars
