I'm trying to put the aperture assembly back into a CZJ 180 Sonnar, and a pin fell out of one of the aperture blades. Unless I can figure out how to fix the aperture blade, I will need a replacement. Does anyone know of a source for such parts? I'm in the US, and I have a friend in Stuttgart, Germany, so someplace in one of those countries would probably be best. Thanks,

Hi Attila, does that mean there is no source for parts?

Yes it is. Most manual lenses has no parts they are out from production long time ago (30 yrs at least)

There's a thread somewhere (this forum or the "other" one) where someone had a similar problem with a Zenitar 2.8/16. He (Rob Leslie, I think) made a new pin (a short length from a needle) and glued it in place.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to use a tiny drop of superglue to glue the pin back to the aperture blade. I reassembled the lens, and so far so good. I just bought a Pentacon to EOS adapter, and looks like a nice lens.

If the Sonnar uses the usual Zeiss aperture mechanism, one loose pin does not matter. As long as the pin isn't loose on several adjacent blades, the blade will be held in altitude by the adjacent blades, and the pin is held between the lens body and aperture ring after the lens is assembled.
