http://www.ebay.com/itm/Excellent-Kern-Macro-Switar-Leica-M-75mm-f1-9-Lens-USA-PAT-No-3135185-/110909834251?pt=Camera_Lenses&hash=item19d2bdc40b

I know they made Macro-Switar 75/1.9 in c-mount but it looked like their other lenses in silver and black. This is not only a mount I have never before seen Kern use but also in black. Anybody knows what this is about?

Probabaly just a mount conversion? I know that the 75/1.9 pretty much covers a full sensor. Not so with my 26/1.1 Smile

Maybe, but have you had a look at the pictures? It doesn't look like any other Macro-Switar that I've seen plus they mention aperture clicks.

It's a stranger to me . . . but many of the movie lenses did have the click stops and "illuminated" depth of field scale.

It looks like a really nicely done mount conversion. Notice how the rear part of the lens is different to the front:
- matt black vs glossy black
- dot separator vs comma separator
- 75MM vs 75mm

You are very likely right. There is no evidence that I can find that Kern ever made lenses for mounts other than Alpa, Cine and very very few M42.

I did ask the seller and received no reply.
