I noticed a yellow range at the left of the distance ring saying "Macro".
I wanted to give it a trial, and in low light.
All shots handheld at minimum focusing distance and iso 800.
I took them from 70 to 210, passing by 90, 120, 160mm.
Sorry, long serie...

You can click on them to expand a bit.

Hi Olivier,
very nice sample of a great french lens.. i love it.

I am an absolutely idiot to sell such a nice lens month ago.. but in the next year i have to find another one for my new cam.. when the Angenieux looks as nice at the smaller one on it... Very Happy

And there was another gem, i did buy instead of the "long Angenieux" first...
this one..

But in the next year, the Angenieux is still on my wishlist..
and it would be great if i can ask again for your help ..

Cheers
Henry

Hello Henry.
As I said, you can count on me. Wink
There are still good bargains on these lenses in France.

I'd love to mount my lenses on such a beauty as yours. The 5D MkII might enlighten thses old lenses... and surely my EF 70-200 F4 L IS USM !

About this 70-210mm, I made a gallery, and another post :

I really find this is a great lens.
Unfortunately, I am not lucky with hoods as they are missing for both my Angenieux 35-70 and 70-210.

What kind of hood should I take ?

Hello Olivier,

i would say any hood for a 70mm Portrait lens will work for you in terms of not vignetting on the shorter End.

So have a look for a metalic hood in the diameter of the filters..

This is what i would do..

Cheers
Henry
