I have fixed the lens today - not completely but enough to get infinity on focusing.

It;s softer than Contax Vario-Sonnar 4/80-200.. but this lens has its OWN CHARACTER - nice colours..

Well, focusing was difficult because the lens is with its native FD mount

so I had to attach the lens to the camera and so on ...

Camera: 5D MkII, pp in LightRoom as usual..

Indeed. Angenieux lenses carry their legend not in vain.

The lens is magical, dripping wet colors, bokeh, I could kill you for this lens,

yes - the lens is amazing -- I sold Angenieux 35-70 to get money for Canon FD 24 f2 - which was on my nirvana lens list Smile

My 3.5/70-210 needs to undergo major repair .. I have done the first half..

The aperture is stuck but I hope that I'll get it in working shape soon..
