Thanks alot.
Looks like i have to make an adapter... |
I'd do it like this: registration distance according to this: http://forum.manualfocus.org/viewtopic.php?id=18276 is 43.5mm. Nearest adapter will be Konica SR 42mm. Canon is exactly 43.5mm but I think you'd have no room to work. I did an adapter for my Schneider lens from my Aka Relle.
Measure the throat of the bayonet mount inside a Konica adapter. Cut a plastic disc (I use plasticard from modelmakers supplies) to fit on top of the bayonet, then make a hole in the middle, wide enough to accept the lens bayonet fitting with a millimetre or so clearance.. Glue the plasticard to the bayonet mount using epoxy. I used 1.5mm plasticard.

If you place the lens against the mount as it is it will focus past infinity as the surface of the ring will be 41.5mm. The top of the silver ring is 42mm. You need 43.5mm. another ring glued to the top of the plastic one and another if necessary will make up the thickness. You can always sand it down.
When the lens focuses on infinity you can either glue it to the mount (permanent) or use hot glue to hold it in place. For my lens I put glue round the inside of the ring and pressed the lens into it. Let it harden then cut off the excess where you can see it.
Turn the mount over and look in through the back you may need a few splurges of hot glue there. I just blob it in then use a heated screwdriver tip to melt and spread it into the areas needed. Its a good idea to paint the inside black, I use blackboard paint (matt black) from the pound shop
When you need the lens back on the camera body, just pull it firmly and the glue will come cleanly off.
I hope this has helped. Good luck
