Shortly after the death of my neighbours cameleon they bought a new pet, this time it was an agama...

Mir 35/2 @ f2.8 (ISO800) and f2 (ISO1600) on Nikon D2h

despite 4MP D2h has clearer photos than 10MP D80 (as long as you dont do 100% crops)... and even the noise isn't so bad some are saying... it's somewhere between D70 an D80, more to the first actually Smile

next time I'll catch this creature in its "natural" habitat Wink

i'd choose a larger dof for the second shot. great looking lizard, can't wait to see more pics

I also use Olympus E-1 andI found better than higher pixel amateur cameras.

I can't wait I love so much animals!

the lighting was VERY poor, so I used f2 and ISO1600 and got 1/90s, I didn't want go any slower with f2.8... ISO3200 is just a bit too much noisy, but can be used in special occasions (BW photos)

I'll do it better next time Smile

I know what you mean, i got the same camera (almost). Stick with ISO 100 and use a tripod, all the problems will be gone Smile
