The pictures are not of much quality, I know. I'm still figuring out how to properly use the K10D with the MF lenses. I was getting better results with the Canon and this lens.
As you say, I do prefer to share right now our local environment with not so good pictures, than waiting to have better ones (that may never arrive Wink ). The heavy top sun didn't help too much anyway, and now I'm not sure If I set the proper WB for that....

Jesito,

I bought this screen for my Samsung GX1S (they use the same screen as K10) but was not happy with it because I still had focusing issues with fast lenses (back OR front focus), as well as exposure errors.

I then bought this one : Click here to see on Ebay.

The splitscreen is horizontal but no more focusing or exposure errors.

EDIT : If you want to try the Jinfinance screen, I can send you mine ... (there is a little scratch in one of the corner but not annoying)

Jieffe,

Many thanks for the feedback!!

No, no thanks. I don't want to try not trusted focusing screens, I did so with the Virtual Village one for the Canon 350D and it was a big lose of time and effort because the reasons you give: not precise focusing, backfocus, etc.

So even I do prefer the diagonal split one, I'll be using that horizontal one if it's precise. Regarding to focusing, the only thing that matters is precission in focus, all the other issues are accesory.
Thanks again for the help.

Jes.

My new screen is slightly darker than the original or Jinfinance screen, that's the only (small) drawback.

I have seen users on DPReview forum reporting they were happy with their Jinfinance screen, so my bad experience is maybe an exception ...

If you change your mind, my offer still holds Wink

Thanks a lot, Jieffe!. I've ordered the same one, don't want to risk spending time needed for other activities (like fixing cameras or shooting pictures). I appreciate very much your advice. This time I want to be sure at first. With the Canon 350D I ended buying a second hand Katz-eye, and all the problems were gone forever...

I'll report how it works as soon as I receive it.
Thanks again!.
