After the memorial service we had family & friends over at our house. I happened to have a newly CLA'd Pentax MX with Tri-X in it, so I took the camera and snapped some pics. Meter was set to ASA 640, but I doubt I metered very often. Some shots I remember taking, others not so much. M 50mm f/1.7 lens, D-76 1:1, Epson 4490. Usually: desaturate, adjust for proper tone, sharpen ~3.1-3.5 pix radius, at least 35pix threshold (on the 2400 dpi scan) at ~60-80%, then 0.2 radius, 10 threshold, 180%. The first is a low frequency sharpen that helps the scanner's retrieval of highlight... or that's my theory Very Happy

That's my nephew whose 21st birthday it was. So I gave him the MX after I finished this roll of Tri-X.

The first shot is just beautiful. I love the overall feel of the picture.

What a wonderful and noble gesture to pass on the MX . Hopefully it will infect another generation with the joy of film . Thanks for sharing during this time and know that I and I'm sure many of us here have had you in our thoughts through this.
