Sadly, it took me too long to shoot my sample roll - I hadn't kept track of Fuji's discontinuance of this nice film. So this is my little try with the film and a farewell - Neopan 1600, I hardly knew ya Crying or Very sad

Yeah, what a pity... such suberb bw film. Share your sadness. Have one last expired at fridge and second at my Nikon cam.
No.3 and 6 are best for me.

The 1st and the 5th are the best

Cracking pics Jussi. I like all.

After my Delta disaster I was going to switch to this film. I missed the news that it was going. Oh well!

Incidentally, my usual online supplier still seems to stock it.

Try HP5+, then - it is much more well-behaved than any of the fast films. Neopan 1600 is the slowest of the fast films, with a real sensitivity barely reaching 800 it is not far off HP5+ (which is a bit faster than the nominal 400) or even Tri-X.

Thanks, but I shoot HP5 already Laughing

How do you find out the true speed of a film?

It's a real pity.
Those shots are excellent!

Thanks for the comments - and interesting info re film speeds. I do like HP5+ and will probably use more of it in the future.

One more from the roll, this one illustrating our daughter using a proper camera - her SP1000 with a Super Tak 50/1.4, loaded with Foma 400.
