Just had finished this project today's morning. It went slower than I expected - took me an extra seven evenings to film the build process and edit the video.

The adapted lens uses M42 mount to make it easy to switch camera system if need be (not that I'm not happy with my Fuji gear, but still...)
It focuses from 38cm to infinity. Not exactly "macro", but at f/2.8 focusing closer is a bit unpractical anyways. You can make it focus closer though with the parts left from the build - at the cost of loosing infinity focus, of course.
