Here's something I came across in the form of a mft adapter. Interesting.

I guess we could build one with HK300's helicoid and some adapter tubes.

Sound interesting. There might even already be something similar out there.

Yes, in fact all that you need is the focusing helicoid and an M39-to-M42 adapter ring ...

I've found a Schneider-Kreuzunach Componar 75/4.5 enlarger lens in my box of camera stuff. I want to adapt it for m4/3, the threads on the enlarger lens is 25mm in diameter don't know the thread pitch. Is there an adapter I can use to convert it to M42? Is it worth the effort?

I'll probably have to show Alex this one to get a proper fitting.

Schneider makes a 25-39 adapter. Add a 39/42 on the end and voila - the schneider works. They make unbelievably good lenses

Alex,

Do you have a 25->39 adapter or 25->M42?

Thanks!

Well, this is state-of-the-art since at least 20 years or more...

Alex (hk300) sells helicoids with rear 4/3 mount, just add the needed
xy-M42 adapter ring in front and you're ready to shoot.

(PS.: I made a sticky on helicoids - it is meant to be read... Very Happy )

Thanks! I got one of the helicoids from Alex already. But need to find out if he has the xy->M42 converter Wink

Looking forward to trying this setup out.
