I'm looking for this ultra rare adapter, or any suggestion please how to use Tamrons with Praktica like other M42s with A/M switch. Thanks.

Thanks, 'hacksawbob' but as I see it's not adaptall-2 and not electric.

Both are not available. I saw only auto M42 Tamron adaptall-2 on normal film camera don't need M position auto just works fine. Electric also not possible Tamron lenses don't give information what a DDR electric lens do.

Thanks Attila! It exists, but ultra rare as you can see here:

http://anusf.anu.edu.au/~aab900/photography/cameras/prakticas.htm

"The Praktica VLC is like the LLC series, but has an interchangeable viewfinder, and TTL open aperture metering. There is a tamron adaptall adapter for m42 electric (LLC/VLC/EE), so you can combine brilliant lenses with this unique and reliable (yes, heavy and loud, but me, too, I am heavy and loud but reliable) camera. I use it for years without any problem.
(From aab: Note that the Tamron Praktica LLC apatall is rare outside Germany. For the last year - 2003 - I saw it only 4 times on ebay)."

Maybe one is someones cellar...

Can I put adaptall-2 lenses to adaptall adapter?

My main problem is the same as on 350D. Without A/M switch, really hard to use the lenses above f/8.

It's very easy to temporarily jam the pin actuator inside the AD-2 M42 adapter. When you push in the pin you can see a springy metal ring lift up inside the adapter. All you have to do is wedge it with cardboard or a small piece of wood, and can easily be removed again.
