I have a Watameter and a Medis accessory rangefinder, both of which I have tried and they work equally well. I think the Medis is possibly a bit brighter ? Both can be easily calibrated, which is important.

But when it comes to looking cool, the Watameter wins hands down !
Cool

Any of them okay if accurate , many of them not even if it works. Require to adjust it, Voigtlander is best and most expensive.

They are available with m and feet scales , check your camera and pickup matched one.

To calibrate external RF and for portraits or sculptures I used ultrasonic distance meter really cheap, accurate and it has both type of scale, but not works on bush Smile

Medis and Watameter are both very good. There's also the Voigtlander that will cost several Isolette cameras,
if you want one. Smile

I had a Vito D plus Voigtländer rangefinder for € 12.50. Very Happy
What do you pay for an Isolette Shocked ??

Don't know about the Russian ones - haven't tried them, but judging from the latest Kiev and Zorki if it's made in latest years (80-ies) it should be good one.
I have 2 very old Watameters (in meters and in feet) and both are very good.

A lot of them are fairly similar - here are instructions on how to align one. To be honest, I have never used mine.

I've a Medis and although I can calibrate the left/right I cant get the images to line up vertically. If its anything to do with the screwhead in the middle, well it does nothing on mine. Help.

I have a couple of rangefinders and find them useful once in a while when I can't focus on my microprism screen.

I received the Blik ,wich is crap ! Well , at least my copy . But wait , don't jump to conclusions Laughing I opened the box (unscrewed two screws ) and took apart the cover (wich has the 2 windows on it ) .When I looked thru the rangefinder without the cover , BINGO !
I can see two images an I can superpose them wnen moving the wheel . I have to check the accuracy , and if it's good , I'll use it just like that , without "panties" Laughing

I've got a Blik and a couple of Watameters. Both good in different ways, but I like the easy calibration on the Watameter.
