Some photographs from a photographic day trip through a region known as Hageland in Dutch. The weather was miserable: cold and mist for most of the day. Photographically speaking, there was some interesting opportunities.

All pictures made with Nikon D80 and Tamron SP 24-48 or Nikkor Series E 75-150.

1. Early morning. Mist and frost working together.

2. Arriving in Horst, I could enjoy this unique view of the castle there.

3. Even though it was noon, the ice had not yet melted.

4. Another view of the castle.

5. Leaving the castle behind me and hiking into the hills, the mist started to clear.

6. I sat down in a local vineyard to have lunch.

7. I continued my trip to Wezemaal and hiked through the orchards.

what a wonderful collection. I agree with Bill it's difficult to pick one out, but I do like #3 (that cold feeling).
