I offer my Schacht Ulm S-Travelon-A 1.8/50 M42

Focus and aperture work very good. Focus smooth and well balanced. Aperture blades are clean and dry, aperture works both automatic (driven by pin or bellows wire) and manual, A-M-switch is working.

Glasses are clear. Coating is perfect. No haze, no fungus, like new.

I think this lens is hard to find in this condition. Both mechanics and housing are very nice.

Optically it is very good to outstanding for it’s generation (early 1960’s), Planar design, six lenses in four groups. Much better than Meyer Oreston, quite similar to Pancolar but I would say better corners open wide, very very nice colour rendering with rich and saturated colours and contrast, very good control of highlights!

My offer: 85 EUR
+ shipment (Germany 5,90 DHL EUR; EC/Europe 5,50 EUR reg. airmail; world 8,50 EUR reg. airmail)

I just saw (viewing the photo online Embarassed ) that the filter ring has a mini dent. Checked it, it does not affect the ability to screw in filters or hoods in any way (i.e. not stiff or so)

Indeed, that's a great lens! Someone should go for it!
If I didn't have so many 50mm lenses already, it would find its way into my cabinet. Wink
