With a little time off and the desire to catch up, I've finally manged to start scanning the back log of images.

The following are some images from our garden in taken in July/08
- shot with a Minolta XG70 on 400 asa Fuji film

1:Painted Daisies (Tanacetum)- Both shot with Tamron 80-210zoom

2:

3:Milky Bellflower (Campanula Latiflora) through the arbor - Also shot with Tamron 80-210zoom

4: Miniature Rose (variety unknown) shot with a Vivitar 35-200mm Macro-focusing zoom
I love the water droplets and the fact it conveys the velvet like texture of the bloom. These are often sold in the grocery store for around $5, and actually are one of the hardiest species.

If where you are is a bit drab with autumn's arrival - enjoy a revisit to summer.
Jim

nice series Jim!
the bokeh for #1#2 is very sweet (thanks to film)
the rose #4 is beautiful but left front leaves is a little disturbing

@ poilu - Thanks Very Happy

I think that 1+2 both came out as I was picturing then in my mind,
the blooms almost like floating disks . . .

I realized I made a mistake on the rose - NOT A MINI Embarassed
Its a Hybrid Tea - Rosa Poulman - Ingrid Bergmann (its new to our garden )
