I love the rendering of the Tomioka 55/1.4 wide open, it's so dreamy. Great shot!

Well I am not sure.
It is different and I like different but I’m not so sure about the colour?
I feel it needs more saturation to go with the dreamy blur? The pale blue?
But well worth posting.

The dimensional quality here is extraordinary, ESPECIALLY since it is a macro. Shocked I think it must be because the bracts on either side are showing that folded area in focus, and it works nicely to give the needed depth. A lot of macro images are pretty much "flat" -- and that is just fine! But, it's nice to see this one with its depth and varied focus points. I really like this, and can imagine it as an enlargement on a wall. Just the colors alone are striking and deep.

Yes, this lens is really a performer, obviously. But also, it takes the photographer to make it what it is.

This Iris is definately a wow!

The variation in tones of in the bloom is what gives it beauty!

@ Alessandro : your flower picture inspired me ... Great lens indeed.
@ Attila : not much to focus on, but I'll have a try on some Tradescentias ...
@ Rob : I'm not too much into satured colors, but that's the fun of digital, you can easily tweak the picture for your taste.
@ Laurence : Thank you, my Master Embarassed
And to all of you, a BIg Thank You for the nice comments !
