I tested a well-used batch of C41 developer with some 06/2005 Dated FUJI Superia X-TRA 400 rated 250 ASA in my Rolleiflex T with the 16-on kit I took 4 frames then managed to CUT the film under the backing paper and re roll it up again and stick down the cut edge.
The results were amazing for the Old Film and Old Developer ! On Scanning with Canon 9000F Mk II + Vuescan Pro + FastStone IMage Viewer only a small colour adjustment was necessary. The TESSAR lens was sharp !

Surprisingly natural colours indeed! I have only very little experience developping color films, and I never managed to routinely enlarge my C41 negatives (slides were much easier though). So kudos to you since I know it's not that easy Wink

!!

Interestingly I found that "scanning" my slides using the 24 MP Sony A900 plus a bellows and a decent macro lens gave better results than my Nikon scanner (don't remember the model any more since I sold it many years ago). Modern digital FF cameras have such a wide exposure range that even the darkest blacks as well as the brightest highlights on a slide can be "scanned" perfectly.
