I have a splendid Printing-Nikkor 150mm macro lens which I have not used much, even less so on FF.
A7r3, Olympus OM x1.4 TC, extension (mainly 2 Olympus OM telescopic tubes) to ca 125mm from the flange, 150mm lens at f11. ISO 160. Twin Nissin Air 1 flash guns with controller on hot shoe. Black rubber back of small mat as background.
The TC was to spread the 30mm image circle and the rubber mat for a dark background. Setup hand-held and very tiring.
The individual images have been cropped moderately for composition and maximum impact. I had to resize the image from 1600 to 1500 for it to upload.

Looks good - great detail. What's the magnification of that one?
Here are a couple more with the Agfa Ocellar 5 cm:

Shot at about 1:1, with diaphragm moved accordingly, cropped to about 1.5:1. _________________ Dedicated to using manual focus lenses with digital. I agree - they're really good and work well in 3D! Wouldn't have thought about shooting the barrier like that - very nice. _________________ ---

The Resupinates are crust fungi which live on dead wood. Whereas a typical mushroom has gills suspended from its cap and produces spore from them, these fungi are upside down with the spore producing structures exposed.
This is not a resupinate crust but it has a similar lifestyle and is the genus Resupinatus.

This is very hard to look at, particularly behind the damselfly, which itself comes out very nicely. I wonder why. _________________ My Outlet
