Hello,
I found this manual lens from a friend of a friend: 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 52mm diameter. I didn't see it yet so it might be an auto focus lens (if any exists, I know nothing about OM mount) so I could have problem with aperture. This will be used on a Canon DSLR.

The difference of less then 1 stop in the zoom range looks nice to me (especially used in video) and I've been looking for a "walk lens" over 50mm, even though 35mm doesn't it make it wide enough I think in a crop sensor. I would like to know if someone knows what this lens might be and if it's worth the trouble. Sharpness interests me too a lot!

This lens should be an Olympus, but I'm not that sure. Is there any other lens with the same specifics in OM mount?

Very very good quality use Zuiko 35/70 4.0 or Vivitar 35/70 3.5 (komine made )
Large opening and top quality : use Angenieux 35/70 2.5-3.3

or the OM 35-80/2.8 Wink Cool

if you´re not into primes, buying same quality MF zoom won´t be really cheap..

I'm not looking for one like that in particular but I had the occasion of this friend having it and I was just wondering if it was worth it

Guys the lens is not an Olympus but a Seimar-Donnex SN389756. Do you know anything about it?

I suspect we'll need a photo or two of the lens to identify it. Sounds like a lens that's been re-branded.
