I am kind of excited and can't wait to get all that stuff.
So, guys, chances are good that I will annoy you with questions about darkroom development in the next weeks. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Nope. Develop the negatives and scan them.
Printing would be too much of an investment and I do not want to occupy a whole room for that.
All the stuff for negative processing can be had for under €80,-! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Only b&w or colour too ?
Looking for a new lab since the largest one here in Germany cancelled the developing only without buying the prints.
You can send me a PM with your address.
Many thanks in advance

I have shot a Tura 150 film yesterday, an expired one. Need to get some b&w film rolls.
And today I have spent about an hour in my "guest bathroom" lab in order to develop the first negatives after 20 years.
Wow, that brought back some memories.
The film is drying at the moment. I can't wait to scan the results!
A yes:
Tura 150 (ISO 100)
Spürsinn HCD negative developer (1+25, 12 min, 22°C)
FIX-Ag film fixer (1+7, 7 min, turned)
and a drop of detergent as wetting agent
Low budget lab at it's best. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Oh bloody h§$%&!
Never ever use a film squeegee, Carsten!!
I should have known...
I am quite happy about the b&w, though.
Next time, I just use the wetting agent and leave the film squeegee where it belongs - in the box! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Hey Lucis,
I just discovered this somewhat stale thread. So, are you staying with it? I did pretty much as you've done -- got rid of all my darkroom stuff several years ago, then recently had to buy back enough to at least develop film, then use a scanner or duplicator to digitize the images. In my case, for the wet side I just bought a couple of tanks and reels and some archival pages to keep my negatives in. I also bought the sponge that is made for wiping down negs. I don't use a squeegee. I find that a sponge works well, and doesn't leave any residue behind. But then if you're using a wetting agent, it really isn't necessary anyway. _________________ Michael

Thanks, cooltouch.
Developing films demands time. And I didn't have much time in the last weeks.
I still have all the stuff but did not get to develop another roll yet.
But the time will come... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
