He used HC-110B, which is a dev I got him started on. This is with the Nikon F100 and 1.4/50 AF and SB-25 strobe, but I'm for results, whatever the equipment. |

Your buddy's portraits are splendid - I had never heard of this film before so thanks for the education. _________________

Thanks, folks, yes, that Rollei film is pretty dazzling. About the C35...the
focusing ring is stiff, RF focusing is off by at least 1.5 feet, and the meter
is shot. Waiting for a reply from Greg Weber to make sure he has the
parts before sending it to him. Cosmetically, it looks almost new. |

Try out first , how good is it before spend 100 USD on a 10 USD camera...
mine is latest one with label Automatic, perhaps not require battery conversion. _________________ -------------------------------

Attila, the meter is dead (after installing a new zinc air batt) needle lays on
the bottom of '2.8'. At closest focus, I am more than 5 feet away, instead
of 3.5 feet, not good. Greg is the #1 go-to guy for Konica in the US.
The camera looks like new, so I'm willing to pay to have it fixed, and fixed
right the first time. |

I am worry about a bit this will be your 'second helomar'
I suggest to look another one before spend this amount of money on it.
If possible look exactly like mine with label on front Automatic , (this was latest version, perhaps it takes alkaline battery already) _________________ -------------------------------

This might be another Helomar, but Greg comes highly recommended on
different forums, including flickr.
The automatic model is rare over here, most are just the simple 'C35'
model. |
