Was doing some file maintenance, when I discovered a set I haven't written about, flower shots using my
ZEISS S-Orthoplanar f4 60mm lens fully open (mounted into an old Schacht double helicoid)

This 360lpm high resolution 7e/5g lens has been designed by Dr Erhard Glatzel, then chief lenses designer at Zeiss Oberkochen.

Lens data is here: http://www.macrolenses.de/ml_detail.php?ObjektiveNr=78

Was also interested to see which bokeh it would produce ...

Full set is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kds315/sets/72157638291023233/

Thanks guys!

Well, it is a 360lpm lens, so it had better be sharp!!

I like that bokeh here...

#4 for me Klaus.
Bokeh, background rendition is as smooth and uniform as it gets.
Expensive, rare?

Thanks, I also like that one quite a bit for its smoothness.
Yes and yes, but depends of course. Can be seen from time to time... $500-600 I'd call a steal.

These are really beautiful pictures. The smoothest of bokeh combined with razor sharpness - a rare combination indeed.
