I am new to MF lenses, just got this Zeiss 135 and it needs a good cleaning from the inside. I've seen posts about accessing the back from the 3 screws, bu this aluminum bodied lens has no screws. It looks like if I unscrew the baffle thing behind back optic, I still won't be able to get anything out without removing the back end. Also do I unscrew the nameplate with a rubber grip to remove front optic?

The rear element is only one. So, if you take off the frontal groups, can clean the inside of the rear one.

First, perhaps should be a good thing to clean the outside of the lens and the glass carefully.

This version is easy to take apart, at the rear, loosen the lock ring (the one you can see from your picture), the focusing unit and the lens unit can be separated. Take care not to lose the spacer ring installed between the focusing unit and the lens unit, this is for adjusting the infinity focus. Once the lens unit is separated, the rear element can be removed quite easily and cleaned. The front group is a bit more complicated, remove the name ring first ( sometime can be tricky, because of age ), then the front group can be unscrewed out and cleaned. I don't know how experienced you are, looks like the glass would need detergent for cleaning, lens tissue and lens fluid would be more or less useless. Take your time, never rush, that would minimize the possibility of damaging the lens.
