Now that looks interesting! Pictures shot with the lens somewhere?

Edit: Just found the flickr group with some shots. Quite interesting lens...

+1, please post some images made with this lens when you have some.

Hi everyone, my first purchase for the new year actually happened to be my first mf purchase ever! I picked up a SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 for $20, and can't wait to properly give it a try. Don't have an adapter yet, but its in the mail. Photos to come!

My first one was a Minolta 50/3.5 MD MACRO. I want to use it with my Sony NEX 5 and Minolta XD7. I'm curious about comparing it with Zuiko Auto Macro 3,5/50, Volna-6 2,8/50, ML Macro 4,0/55, Makro-Kilar D 2,8/40 and Macro-Elmarit-R 2,8/60.

Apart from a cheapo 50mm Cassar I've bought 2 Canon T90s and a Mamiya C330.

I'm buying much less but more expensive things.

I was being very good and had bought no new gear recently. Then someone was offering a mint looking Pentax SP500 body for very little money so I snapped it up. The the following week I put in a low bid for a black Spotmatic and was surprised to win it. Sadly, it isn't in as good as a condition as I hoped. Then I succumbed to getting a SMC Pentax-A 35-105 zoom which happens to come along with a SMC Pentax-A 70-210. They should be here next week. Oh dear... so much for not buying more kit this year!

K.

Soligor (Tokina) 55-135mm f/3.5 T4 with an M42 T4 mount. Found one at a pawn shop for $20 and seeing as it's one of the less-talked-about T4 lenses, I decided to pounce on it.

Haven't made ANY purchases yet so far! Incredible, I know!

I have been selling some old lenses to fund new ones. Planning on picking up a Distagon 35mm f/2.8 as my first 'real' Carl Zeiss lens (have only shot with CZJ's before)
