This lens is very compact and like most Macros in this range, I think it is perfect for digital photography, with excellent sharpness and low distortion. It's a 1:2 macro without a tube.

There are some older threads discussing this lens on mflenses. Klaus at that time compared it to the Macro Planar, I am not sure if he still feels that way about it. Based on the few shots I took today, it's an excellent lens. There are a few of these on eBay, Kevin's Cameras seems to have several of them, at the typical Kevin's Camera prices.
Below are some random shots I took today. Only one real macro shot, along with a portrait and a landscape. All OOC jpegs taken with NEX 6.
