Fully agree. I've gotten several Planars and at the end I keep the Yashica Wink

BTW, which cam did you use for the testing?. (I miss the EXIF data).

Regards.
Jes.

Results look pretty decent to me Smile

Note though, the Planar is usually around £100.00.

Hmm prices seem to have come down on the planar as last i looked they where 170+
weird Atm some lenses are coming back down like the yashica as some had gone to £50+
Chinons seem menta atm the 1.4 broken and scratched last week went for close to £90 crazy prices

People are buying Chinons because of the Tomioka hype, even though only a few of them were definitely Tomiokas and were labelled as such anyway...madness. Particularly given that the Tomioka f/1.4 lenses weren't even that special IMO.

As for the Plaanr 50/1.7, it's usual price is around £100.00. I purchased my f/1.4 versions for less than £200.00 each time.
