Post pics of what you are carrying around today. Or yesterday if that helps Laughing We want to see!

Cameras, lenses, bags, accessories... show what you carry!

(thanks kansalliskala for thinking this up!)

I tend to be minimalist with what I carry. I'm more likely to carry two cameras (in different formats) than two lenses.

I use an ordinary (and cheap) backpack for my way to and from work. In it, I usually stuff a Pentax holster with a camera... sometimes a folder goes into another pocket. For bigger lenses etc I have a yellow insert I can use, but it is a bit bulky.

Here's what I have today; once the film's done, another cam will take its place:

hey, love that kodak!

ive taken to carrying a small film cam (mostly bessa T, sometimes contax T or kodak retina iv) along with either my x100 or olly ep2. i can carry two such cams plus one extra lens in a small shoulder carry bag, with less weight and bulk than just taking my old 5d. lately lenses have been cv 25/4 and summicron-c 40/2. if i carry the retina, then i only carry retina lenses on the ep2, and mostly take some combo of the 35/2.8,50/1.9&85/4.

Mine changes every time I go out, today it's my NEX-3 (as always) with PB Pentacons 2.8/28 and 2.8/135 and my new PB-NEX adapter arrived this morning, Konica AR 3.5/200 because it just arrived yesterday and Konica Zoom-Hexanon UC 4/80-200 so I can compare it to the 200mm. Also an Olympus Stylus 35mm compact that also arrived yesterday, loaded with a roll of Fujicolor 200.

The KX is newly CLA'd by Eric Hendrickson, and is butter smooth. The SMC-M 50/1.4 is new to me as I conveniently forgot I had a second SMC-M 50/1.7 in the cabinet - I gave one with the also CLA'd MX to my nephew for his 21st birthday. The Ultra-Pod is also new, I needed something like this to keep in my bag for those long exposures. It is a pretty cool bit of gear, though slow to set up: you can strap it onto posts and the like. I ran a couple of Ferranias through this kit and now have Tri-X in there.

Ultra-Pod is straight from a Sci-Fi movie, don't know which? Smile

I try to go for a walk most days, weather permitting. My camera and lens combo changes frequently depending on my mood. Today it was my Asahi Pentax ESII + SMC Takumar 35mm f3.5. Film is Fuji Velvia.

At the moment I have a Contax G1 analog body and NEX-5N with EVF, 4 lenses (Contax G Biogon 28/2.8, Planar 35/2, Planar 45/2 and Sonnar 90/2.8 ) and 3 rolls of film in my bag.

When I'm going out to friends etc. I usually always put my NEX with flash and 16mm kit into my pocket, and rarely also a second lens.

Nice Canon there... and LOL SonicScot, did you actually end up using all that stuff? Me, I'm lucky if I manage to bring two lenses... Laughing - I'm laughing at myself, with all that gear and I end up using one lens, and that a normal, most of the time.

Anyway, what's in the bag today:

I did end up using everything in the bag that day but had a small issue with the Optomax. It's prone to flare and the gardens I was shooting in emphasised the problem. I have since ordered a hood. Smile
The most useful item on the day was the bin-bag, the ground was damp so it saved me getting wet. Wink

Inspired by you I packed more -- but still only used the SLR with the normal lens, and the Moskva with the shade only. I did use the meter, once Laughing But, if I'd had the time and opportunity and need, I'd had the things I'd have needed.
