Okay. I bid and bought this because it was cheap ($9.99 + shipping) and no one else wanted it. I have no idea what the lens is, there is no front picture included with the sale.
A couple of clues. 1). It is attached to a Sears SL 11(F mount?) 2). Max aperture scale is 2.8 3). It has some sort of macro scales.
Please give your best guess and I will post who is correct when I get the item.

The camera is probably a rebranded Ricoh Singlex TLS with M42 thread mount. _________________ My Flickr photostream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chantalrene/

It looks very like my Ensinor 24mm styling and markings although I don't think its a 24mm. Probably 28mm.
For Ensinor read Clubman as well as others. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |

This Website says SL11 is a rebranded Singlex with F mount. _________________ Follow me on 500px |

I could be wrong... but i think there were more than one version of the SL11.
The brand of the lens is most probably STAR-D. _________________ My Flickr photostream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chantalrene/

I can read Star-D, and barely make out what looks like 28mm.
Is it a gold line star D 28mm macro or somethhing. mount could be Ricoh, M42 or Nikon F-mount.
Edited:
Perhaps I shoud have worded it the correct way around:
Star-D Gold Line Macro 28 mm F/2.8 Lens I will say the mount will possibly be M42.
Made in Japan rather than Korea, Tokina made? - honestly don't know

I agree, it's the same as the one I have. It's a very good lens. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

With only difference that you have Praktica/Pentax Universal mount lens (I guess from the PU on your lens) better known as M42 lens mount... But as you say this is just a guess... _________________

Now the next logical question, who made these lenses? _________________ Follow me on 500px |

Nope. That Sakar has nothing to do with Star-D. STAR-D is rebranded Korean Samyang. See this topic:
