Welta Weltax Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar T 75mm
Foma R09 (Rodinal) 1:50 25C 6'30" First minute agitation non-stop later at every minutes.

This is my first scan with glass adapter what I got as a donation from our member Axer (http://www.scanassist.org) it is a great help to keep film strip flat while scan. Many thanks Axer!

Film strip was curly it was difficult to keep flat with genuine Epson holder (near impossible ) . Without this glass , had to iron it for hours or a day with heavy books and sharpen .tiff file on computer. Now I could scan immediately and sharpening didn't required it was SHARP!.

Hi-res images are here!

Those are very good results you got - the image is very clear and you say without sharpening.
I have got a set of those glasses too i hope they will arrive soon.

OK, this goes on the list of what i buy after we settle in a new house. Definitely good scans, I can see the benefit even with small images.

If it can't do anything else just keep film in 120 film holder which is a pain with curly film worth to have it. Sharpness is a real plus Wink

Wow they look awesome. Any chance of a scan with and without the glass?

I did make a test , Epson genuine holder did pretty good job too I didn't see much difference on result. Main difference was : with scan assist was pleasant fast , with Epson holder was a pain to handle curly roll.

The checkered cars in the water is a great image, very whimsical. The scan assist looks like a great tool for scanning.

Attila! These are really outstanding. What a great, great lens. And I
always LOVE your "local" photographs.

Laughing Many thanks, this is one of the not respected gems, no coupled RF (really don't need) made in East Germany etc. I found better than most top wanted folder camera.

Very nice looking images, Attila.

I guess I'm lucky so far. My medium format slides and negatives have not curled, however. Some are even 25 years old, and they're still flat.

35mm is a different matter. I have some of them that have a lot of curl, or cupping actually, and one of the things I've been looking into has been anti-Newton glass for my Epson 35mm filmstrip holders. Betterscanning.com has the ANR inserts for the Epson holders, and I've been meaning to pick up a set, but just haven't yet.

I'm curious -- has anyone else here had a chance to use the betterscanning ANR glass for 35mm film strips?

I have the ANR strip for 35mm, and it works well. ScanAssist is cheaper
by $10, and looks and does the same from what I can tell. If you bought
both the 120 and 35mm, you'd save even more on shipping as you can
buy 6 items for the 7.5 Euro charge.

@Attila, fabulous results!

Thanks, Kat. I'll have to look into the ScanAssist product. I don't recall it offhand.
