Took my little boy and wifey out for a quick trip to Hanoi (northern Vietnam). This is one the busiest periods of the year as the Lunar New Year is about one week away and every one is in the streets for last minute work before entering a long vacation of 10 days.

All the shots we're taken with the Chinon 55/f1.4 + Pentax K100D wide open.

Interesting and string highlight bokeh, something I would not have expected from a rather modern lens like this.

nice series, I like the first portrait with this bokeh
this lens seems to focus quite near, great beer capture

Thanks. The lens focuses down to 0.5m which is pretty standard for this focal length.

I changed the Title to include the lens name.
Better for later searches in the database. Wink

If you can't find the Chinon you can have a look at its cousins for example: Mamiya Sekor, Sears Sekor, Revuenon, Rikenon and Yashinon.

I think the Mamiya Sekor is widely available on eBay Smile

Good luck!
