Just a nit-pic really. The writer states "Shutter speeds are selected using the dial on the top plate and run to 1/2000sec - the fastest of any M42 screw thread SLR".

The camera was not faster than some Fujica, Alpa (based on the Chinon) and Chinon models that also ran to 1/2000sec.

Perhaps it's just a poor choice of wording making it look peerless in the shutter speed stakes.

The Chinon Memotron comes to mind. Cosina also made some models like it. And that was in the first half of the 1970s.

I have one and quite like it. However it does have compatibility issues with some lenses such as the Meyer/Pentacon Orestegon, Oreston, and of course the very early ones which would prevent the iris actuator inside the camera mount from moving forward.
