The camera was not faster than some Fujica, Alpa (based on the Chinon) and Chinon models that also ran to 1/2000sec.
Perhaps it's just a poor choice of wording making it look peerless in the shutter speed stakes. |

The Chinon Memotron comes to mind. Cosina also made some models like it. And that was in the first half of the 1970s. _________________
