I have it since march 21st after very fast delivery.

I gave it a quick trial and Shocked
I didn't really understand words and comments on some lenses, including this one. I trusted you when you said it's a gem but didn't catch the very sense of your words. Now, I know.

I'm very impressed by its optical top quality at any aperture and by its mechanical qualities either.

On the 5D MkII, it's a top quality lens !
Some will ask if the mirror hit the rear P/K mount.
The answer is yes, because of the protective flange. But I unscrewed this protection and all works fine at every aperture.

Some of the quick samples, all handheld :

Thank you Moïra, Rolf. Smile

Mo, we found this mask in an artisanal glass workshop.
I think it is glazed pottery (or enameled pottery could be better english word ?).

I was thinking to buy this lens or elmarit 90. But then Roland lowered the price of elmarit, so I went for elmarit. Now I see, This APO wins in less CA.
Great series Olivier.

Great lens as I know since years (I have it too). Maybe "someone" remembers the great results Lawrence (Larry) has shown us here?

Mo, the technique for the mask (photo #2) is called Raku.
